If you ask most Christians what sets Jesus apart from other men who have achieved global spiritual recognition most will point to His virgin birth, sinless life, supernatural miracles, His resurrection and ascension. Believing in and defending the accurate historicity of those events form the foundation of their faith.
I think that what proves His divinity, that which has made Him the turning point in the history of the world was that He loved people better than anyone ever has or ever will. He was in the business of including the excluded, forgiving the unforgivable and loving the unlovable. What He demonstrated in His life and His legacy is that God is love. That is the good news of Jesus.

There is also the little fact that the others were not God's only Son. That is a good point though, that "He loved people better than anyone ever has or ever will" and it's true.
